Zhizhong DIAO graduated from the School of Computer Science of Shenyang Aerospace University (formerly Shenyang Aeronautical Industry College) in 1985. He once served as an Engineer of Design Center of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd, responsible for  informationization R&D. He was awarded the titles of the "2^nd Haidian Technology Park Excellent Young Entrepreneur" and "Outstanding Figures in Independent Innovation of the 30^th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up".

In 1998, DIAO, as one of the three founders, co-founded Beijing Glodon Huizhong Software Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as "Glodon"), engaging in R&D and promotion of engineering pricing software of the construction industry. After 11 years of company's development, DIAO has led all his fellow colleagues to develop Glodon into a high-tech enterprise specialized in IT applications and earned a high reputation in Chinese construction sector, continuously providing the most valuable information products and professional services for Chinese construction industry.

He clearly sets the mission for the company to provide IT products and services for infrastructure sector and a three-dimensional business development strategy. The mission for the Gloden is to "base on construction sector, focus on client's core businesses and extend to software products, professional services and content information areas",  and now it has formed the core corporate culture of "Integrity, Practicability, Innovation and Service". Starting from pricing software, Glodon's products have developed from single budget software to over 30 products in four main business areas, including construction engineering cost management, project cost management, bidding management, educational training and consultancy. These products have been extensively applied in construction design, construction, audit, consultancy, supervision, real estate development as well as such systems as financial auditing, petrochemical, post and telecommunication, power and bank auditing. Glodon's products have been intensively applied to the famous projects such as the Oriental Plaza, National Stadium-Bird Nest, National Center for the Performing Arts.
